Jenni Meikle

Jenni, an English Literature graduate from Stockport, developed her zest for travel after spending a month trekking, working and travelling in Namibia. Since then, her adventures have taken her to Canada, inter-railing through Europe and teaching English in Barcelona for nine months. Having travelled Spain widely during this time, it is one of her favourite destinations and feels like a second home.

Finally, she decided to settle in Newcastle, her university city, and join our Product and Operations Department to develop some fantastic travelling experiences for others.

As one of our newest members of the team, Jenni is yet to experience many of our destinations. Very much a sun-worshipper, and a lover of ancient Greek history and mythology, high on Jenni’s wish-list is our Greek Islands cruise,  visiting beautiful islands such as Mykonos, Delos and Santorini. She is also hoping to visit Croatia, and is currently planning a family holiday there for the coming summer. This intrigue in culture spreads outside of Europe too, and she eventually she wants to venture to Borneo or Costa Rica (or both!) in order to explore their diverse culture and wildlife.

Winter holidays are something of a new adventure for Jenni, therefore the first thing on her bucket list is a husky safari. In particular, she would love to celebrate the New Year on our Utsjoki trip, as the itinerary is brimming with all of the winter activities that she wishes to try out. Plus, celebrating the New Year twice in one night sounds like great fun.
