Multi Summer Activities
Whilst we know that activities are not for everyone, seeing a destination in an active way can offer a unique perspective and an unforgettable experience.
We have over a decade of experience working with some of the world's best activity providers with one of our sister companies. We have therefore utilised our knowledge and connections with the local experts to craft itineraries for our Artisan Travel clients.
None of our multi activity holidays require a high level of fitness or prior experience (unless clearly stated). Our guides are the best in the business and as ever our clients' safety comes first.Read more
In the summer months some regions offer a very wide variety of activity options for all levels. In some cases we leave it to you to choose how many you wish to include and how active you wish to be. In other destinations we include the activity highlights we feel you simply have to try.
In Gozo for example, one of the delightful Maltese islands, our itineraries combine the chance for you to enjoy a range of other customisable activities such as coastal walks and sea kayaking, with delightful cuisine, wine tasting, cultural encounters and time to simply relax.
Up above the Arctic the majority of our summer Scandinavian holidays offer the chance to include activities, some of which are truly unique. In our holidays near Tromsø guests can choose from an array of activities including glacier hiking, mountain biking, snorkelling and kayaking under the Midnight Sun to name a few.
We also have some holidays which we dedicate to specific activities such as cycling and walking.
In Greece we have worked with our local partners to design cycling itineraries which take you through some simply spectacular landscapes and enable you to get up close to the people, the culture and the places that you cycle through. Your luggage is conveniently transferred between your hotels so all you have to worry about is keeping one eye on the GPS and ensuring that you experience all that the delightful regions have to offer.
Corsica is the base for one of our dedicated self-guided walking holidays. This French island is a hiker's paradise and the scenery is incomparable. The mountains tower above you and the azure coastal waters surround the island and lap the white sand beaches. After a day of hiking it is also a joy to sample some of the local cuisine and of course the local wine!
Our travel experts know our destinations intimately and will be more than happy to discuss the various activity options with you if you have any questions about any of our holidays. Our clients' safety is our primary concern and so you can travel safe in the knowledge that you are in the best possible hands.
