Growing up in Northumberland, Lauren has been lucky enough to spend much of her life enjoying the beautiful beaches on the North Eastern coast of England with her family and friends. Lauren’s love of the beach is reflected in the fact that her favourite holidays have involved exploring various beaches and coastlines around the world.
With a strong love of beaches, it is perhaps unsurprising that one of the Artisan destinations that she is particularly keen to experience is Croatia’s famous Dalmatian Coast. Lauren loves the idea of cruising through Croatia’s many islands and enjoying the beauty of its many white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters, with Zlatni rat, the island of Brač’s famous golden pebbled beach. As well as enjoying Croatia’s stunning coastline Lauren is also keen to delve into the history and culture of places such as Dubrovnik, Korčula and Split too.
Despite having experienced some fantastic summer holidays, Lauren had never experienced a winter holiday before starting at Artisan Travel. However, after reading client reviews about Harriniva in Finnish Lapland she is now desperate to put this right and travel there to experience a once-in-a-lifetime husky safari and get the chance to ride on a snowmobile too.
As well a winter trip to Finland, Lauren would also love to travel to Sweden. As a fan of unique experiences, Lauren would love the opportunity to stay at both the Treehotel and the Icehotel© and tick both off her bucket list. Lauren knows that spending a night in such incredible surroundings would be an experience that she would never be able to enjoy anywhere else!
