Ashleigh McNair-Templeton

Ashleigh spent her childhood in the north west of England. With the Lake District on her doorstep, she loved nothing better than the sense of achievement from climbing to the top of a fell and admiring the view from the top.

In 2008 Ashleigh moved to Newcastle to go to University. After studying Travel and Tourism Management at Northumbria University, Ashleigh found her dream job working for tour operator Artisan Travel within the Marketing Department.

Ashleigh has always had a passion for travel and enjoys learning about different cultures and experiencing new activities. Her most recent trip was to Tuscany, Italy. One of the highlights of her trip was visiting the historic city of Lucca, with its well-maintained city walls and cobblestone streets and not forgetting the pistachio gelato, which was to die for.

Ashleigh’s favourite Artisan Travel destination is Ranua, Finnish Lapland. With snow-topped trees and frozen lakes, Ranua is the perfect place to enjoy some Nordic pastimes. She loves the thrill of guiding her own team of huskies through the wilderness and then relaxing in a sauna after an action-packed day in the Arctic and can’t wait to experience these activities with her daughter when she is older.
