Christmas and New Year in Iceland

Our holiday to Iceland has been carefully crafted to show you the best what this country has to offer. Visit the famous Blue Lagoon and bathe in the geothermal spa, explore the culture and cuisine in Reykjavik and then head out on a Northern Lights hunt in a 4x4 super jeep, designed to take you off-road and to exclusive locations. You’ll also get to experience whale watching during a three-hour boat trip where you’ll look out for minke and humpback whales as well as white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises.

Though these experiences are magical at any time of year, there’s something extra special about the festive period that really adds to your holiday.

Canada over Christmas and New Year

The Yukon is best known for two things – the Aurora and dog sledding and during this festive break, you’ll try your luck at both.

Due to the location of the Yukon’s wilderness, every night you’re here you could see the Northern Lights if conditions are favourable. To help increase your chances, one night you will visit the famous Aurora Centre to begin your search of the night sky.

During the day, you can explore the capital Whitehorse and also try your hand as a musher during a husky safari. This exciting activity is one of the best ways to take in the enormity and beauty of the Yukon.
