Niall McMahon

Having worked in a completely different industry prior to joining the Artisan team, Niall grabbed his chance to work in the travel sector in the summer of 2019. Over the years, a love of travel has spurred Niall to seek adventures across Europe and beyond and so joining Artisan really was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up!

Having never really experienced a winter holiday before joining Artisan Travel, Niall was intrigued to find out why his colleagues were all so passionate about travelling to the Arctic. It didn’t take long for Niall to find out what all the fuss was about as he recently visited both Iceland and Finland and it’s safe to say is now a big fan of all things snow too!

Niall enjoyed a memorable road trip around Iceland, being lucky enough to get up close to many of the countries famous waterfalls and the islands spectacular scenery, with the chance to walk on a glacier a particular highlight. In Finland, Niall had the opportunity to try his hand at mushing and has now fallen in love with the thrill of controlling a pack of huskies on a safari through the snow-covered forests of Finnish Lapland.

As our newest Travel Expert here at Artisan, Niall is eager to sample more of our holidays and is particularly keen to visit some of our summer offerings, with the Atlantic islands of Madeira and the Azores being high on his list because of their stunning volcanic landscapes and their incredible wildlife.
