Multi Winter Activities
The winter months in the Arctic regions of Scandinavia, Canada and Alaska create what can best be described as 'a playground' for winter activities. These vast areas of wilderness provide a variety of unique activities to all who visit.
As there are so many things to see and do in the Arctic Circle here, we have selected and hand crafted a range of Arctic winter activity holidays that encapsulate the best activities available in each of these wondrous regions.
Our winter holiday itineraries typically will include some of the headline acts such as dog sledding, snowmobiling and reindeer safaris. The way in which each of these is carried out will vary between each destination as each has something special to offer. You could enjoy a relaxing dog sled ride as a passenger or a full day safari in the wilds driving your own team. You could travel by snowmobile-pulled sleigh to a fell top amethyst mine or enjoy a full day safari across the wild frozen lakes of Lapland.
The majority of our winter holidays will also include a selection of activities such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing or ice fishing as these are all integral pastimes to the areas.
We also always try to include elements within the itineraries that give our guests an insight into the local culture, whether that is simply via your local expert guides or through a day spent with a local reindeer herder, we always want our clients to enjoy a connection with the local people and their way of life as it gives a much deeper understanding of any destination.
